This is going to bring you to the same place that it would have if you clicked that blank document right in Google Docs itself. To create a new Google Doc from Drive, click the New button on the top left-hand side of the screen and select Google Docs. From here, you could access Drive or Docs directly. Also, from any Google product, once you've signed into your Google account, you can click the thumbnail grid icon on the top right-hand side across every Google product. I do have a course in the library on Google Drive, so if you're interested, I do recommend watching that to find out everything that Drive can do for you, which is important, because Google Docs is built in so heavily with Google Drive.
